These filters collect up to 90 percent of particles as small as 3 microns, like mold spores, pollen, cement dust, carpet fibers, lint, and insects, preventing them from entering the ERV or reentering your air.
Fantech recommends vacuum cleaning these filters every three months and replacing them each year.
