The MRCOOL 2nd Gen VersaPro 18,000 BTU 1.5 Ton Central Split System is a ducted mini-split that delivers Energy Star-rated and reliable climate control for homes up to 800 square feet. It has advanced inverter technology, a painted galvanized steel outdoor unit for durability, and a multi-position air handler to fit a variety of home layouts.

Equipped with a Follow Me remote control, smart thermostat compatibility, and a pre-charged Quick Connect line set, this machine offers hassle-free installation and precise climate control. The easy-access removable filter simplifies maintenance, ensuring long-term efficiency and air quality.

Powerful Ducted Mini-Split Cooling

This MRCOOL AC provides powerful cooling for whole homes or multiple specific zones within a larger house. It can produce an airflow of between 488.54 and 618.03 CFM.  

• High Energy Efficiency: Operates efficiently with a SEER2 rating of 18.8 and an EER2 rating of 11.0, reducing energy costs while cooling large spaces and whole homes.
• Heat Pump: The integrated heat pump system provides up to 18,000 BTUs of heating power.  This model heats with an HSPF2-4 rating of 9.1 and an HSPF2-5 rating of 7.0.
• Quiet Operation: This split AC's indoor noise level can be as low as 55 dB, so you won’t be disturbed while it’s running.
• R-454B Refrigerant: This model uses the environmentally friendly refrigerant R-454B, which has a much lower global warming potential than other refrigerant formulas.

Flexible Installation and Operation

MRCOOL is known for producing mini-split air conditioners that offer customers versatility and flexibility. It continued this tradition with the larger Versa Pro split system, designing it with a multi-position air handler and multiple features that make it easier to use and maintain.

• Multi-Position Air Handler: The indoor air handler supports upflow, downflow, and horizontal installations, giving you more control over where the unit is installed in your home.
• Smart Climate Control: Includes a wired MRCOOL Smart Thermostat with various programming and scheduling options. However, the system is also compatible with any third-party 24V controller, such as a Nest thermostat.

Lineset Length Options

You can choose from a model with no lineset, or a 15, 25, 35, or 50-foot lineset option. The quick-connect lineset that can come with this model is pre-charged with R-454B refrigerant.

Optional Supplemental Heater

This central ducted split system can be selected with a 5kW, 8kW, or 10kW supplemental heater kit.
